This is the best idea I've heard all day. Crop Circle Quilts.
I am a hand quilter who likes to come up with new ideals and not just do the same old stuff , I've been kicking around this ideal for years , the problem is drafting the darn things out , if I cant draft it in a quilt how in the h e double hockey sticks are a few guys with planks doing it in real life??? but the ideal is wonderful and with a good diagram drafted out I could do a heck of a job on one :)
I recently finished a pieced quilt with an applique that was inspired by crop circles (a triskelion to be exact). It turned out gorgeous.
